× Mid-Century Ranch ×
Before & AfterThis ranch was our fastest project to date (completed in 1.5 months) and it sits on a quiet bike street. Minor tweaks, which included removing carpets to reveal hardwoods and layout changes, improved the property’s flow, square footage, and functionality.
The house had 3 bedrooms and one bath, but an addition extended the bathroom and back bedroom, creating a long and awkward single bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub next to a large, non-attached bedroom. Splitting the bathroom into two and attaching the back bathroom to the large bedroom created a primary suite.
The second attached garage, though useful to the former owners, appeared awkward from the exterior. The original garage was transformed into a semi-finished den with a utility closet and laundry area. A new garage door provided access to the den’s laundry/mudroom and the kitchen.
Downsizing the deck, adding a patio and path, and planting trees transformed the exterior. Finally, ivory paint disguised newer vinyl windows.
